USA First Nations Trade Summit

In June 2024, for the first time ever, the U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) held a Trade Mission focused on the US and Canada Native Agribusiness.

This event was led by Secretary of Agriculture for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis M. Taylor at the Consulate General House in Vancouver, BC. Aiming to build a stronger trade, partnership and recognition to the indigenous food production and its impact in todays economy.

Jeff and Cody had the opportunity to meet with the USA Ambassador to Canada David Cohen and the Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota Peggy Flanagan at the event, and with industry colleagues while exploring new business and unique products.
